Bride & Groom Boxes

As promised, I’m back to share the wedding boxes that I made to go with the cards for the Fantabulous Challenge blog yesterday. These were so easy to make and so cute when they were put together!

WeddingProject (11)

Both of these are cut from Tie the Knot. I cut both out at 10” but after putting them together, they each measure about 4” tall. They were very easy to put together and my only problem was to decide when to stop embellishing them, LOL!

WeddingProject (15)

I used American Craft cardstock (one of my favorites to cut with my Cricut – it cuts so well!). For the bride, I ran the front of the dress through my Cuttlebug with the Acanthus embossing folder by Anna Griffin, inked the scalloped layer at the top with pink, and added some bling to the top. Don’t you just love that bling? The color looks so much better in real life. It’s called iridescent and made by Recollections.

WeddingProject (14)

For the groom, I added small pearls for the buttons and bow tie, and a piece of the same bling that I used on the brides dress on the lapel.

Both of these boxes would make great wedding favors or even as a gift box for a small gift or gift card. I really love this cart and wish I had had it (and my Cricut) many years ago when I knew more people getting married! There is even a Vegas image which is perfect since that is where I was married many moons ago!

Thanks for stopping by today and until next time, Happy Crafting!
